Tehran, Iran — An Iranian soldier opened fire on fellow soldiers Sunday, killing five of them in the southeastern city of Kerman, where 94 people were killed in a bombing attack earlier this month, Iranian state TV reported.

Israeli Attack Kills Top Iranian Commanders in Damascus
cairo — An apparent Israeli attack on an Iranian military target Saturday in the Syrian capital of Damascus has killed at least five top commanders of Tehran's elite al Quds Forces.
